EFSA confirms safety Listex against Listeria 

EFSA's Biohazards Panel has published its Scientific Opinion on the Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of LISTEX™ P100 for the removal of Listeria monocytogenes surface contamination of raw fish.

EFSA’s Panel confirms that the use of LISTEX™ is safe. The  Panel also concludes that  the published challenge studies demonstrate that LISTEX™ is biocidal  for Listeria monocytogenes. 

Recommended follow up includes initiation of large scale industrial trials to confirm sustainable efficacy of Listex as an effective practical intervention against Listeria.
